River Woods “voters” head to the Polls

5th grade teachers and students help put on the Presidential Straw Poll.  Students filled out ballots and placed their votes in our voting stations in the library.  The results were counted at the end of the day.  The votes were separated into K-2, 3-5, and staff votes.  On the Democratic side Hillary Clinton won all three categories.  For the Republicans Carly Fiorina won K-2 votes, while Ben Carson won with the 3-5 and staff votes.  Head to the link below to see an article and pictures provided by DMPS Media.
