Registration for 2014-15 is May 8th !

All students K-5 must be registered.

All families must provide proof of their home address when registering.

Kindergarten Registration

*Only incoming kindergarten students with siblings at River Woods OR  those children who have attended pre-school in the Des Moines school district will register at River Woods. All families who are new to DMPS will register at the Welcome Center – please call Diane for an appointment (242-7371).

Children must be five years of age on or before

September 15, 2013, to be eligible for

kindergarten this fall. To register your child for kindergarten, you must bring the following items:

– A copy of your child’s birth certificate

– Your child’s updated immunization record

– Proof of address in parent’s name (this can be made w/ a current water or heating bill in your name.)

*Reminder—Kindergarten students must have a physical exam by a doctor before starting the school year!

DENTAL SCREENING

State law now requires dental screening for all enrolling kindergarten students and students (elementary or high school) transferring from outside of Iowa. A Certificate of Screening needs to be completed by your dentist and
