River Woods Basketball Team to Iowa Energy Game

The River Woods Basketball team ended their season in big way. The evening after their last practice, they celebrated at an Iowa Energy game. They were invited to line the tunnel and give “hi-fives” to the players as they came out. They were then called onto the court to help introduce the individual players. The Energy may have lost the game but the River Woods players had a time that they will always remember. The team and their coaches would like to thank the 21 Century program that paid for it all. The week before, they met the Week’s middle school coach. They are prepared to meet his expectations and play for the coach next year.
