River Woods Students Earn 2nd Place at the Battle of the Books Finals after Winning Both Regional Titles!

Who read 40 books and blew the competition away with his knowledge? Hunter Christenson, that’s who! He won the 40 Book Challenge contest held in March. Then our team of 4th and 5th grade students coached by Mr. Poole won the Southside Regionals on April 23rd to advance to the final round of four schools. They worked together showing amazing teamwork and effort to place 2nd overall in the Finals held April 13th. We are so proud of our readers for their hard work and sportsmanship.
